The Gender Equality Conference convened influential leaders and change-makers from across multiple sectors to engage in meaningful dialogue on advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The conference was officially opened by the then Minister of Gender, who delivered a powerful and inspiring address underscoring the importance of inclusive policies, leadership, and collective action in creating equal opportunities for women.

Bringing together diverse voices from Zambia and the Southern African region, the event was supported by key partners including the United Nations, Zamtel, and other committed stakeholders who champion gender-responsive development.
